Innovations in Ceramic Art is a major ceramic art show. It will feature work by over 50 artists. There will also be a programme of talks by leading ceramicists. Visitors will be able to meet the artists and buy work directly from them.
Innovations in Ceramic Art will feature an eclectic mix of work, from functional wares from the studio pottery tradition to pieces that owe their origins more to fine art. All the work on show will be individually handmade to the highest quality. Visitors will be amazed by the diversity of work produced using such a simple material.
Online Ceramics is organising Innovations in Ceramic Art in association with the Craft Potters Association, the national body representing ceramic artists in the UK. Their aim is to advance and encourage the creation of fine works in studio ceramics, and to foster and extend the interests of the public in such objects and to promote their value in society.
